Hey, Army!

The U.S. House and the Senate are on their summer break and won’t be back in Washington until after Labor Day. That gives us all the opportunity to help guide the conversation.

So what do I mean by that?

I mean this is the time, while they’re at home, to ask “Will you vote for a bill that uses domestic natural gas to reduce our dependence on OPEC oil when you go back to Washington?

And if you run into someone who is a candidate for November, ask them the same question.

It’s been two years and we still don’t have a plan, so let’s get these folks on the record. Ask both candidates – incumbents and challengers. To download talking points you can use while talking to them click here: http://media.pickensplan.com/pdf/An-Energy-Plan-for-America.pdf

After you’ve done that, you might want to write a short Letter to the Editor telling everyone else in your town what they’ve said, so everyone knows what they’ve promised.

And I’m making it easy for you to do that –  to send a letter to the editors of all your local papers through the Pickens Plan website click here: http://www.capwiz.com/pickensplan/issues/alert/?alertid=16037501&type=ME

And here’s the important part –  to report your progress and let me know what you’re hearing so I can share it with all 1.6 million Army members click here: https://pickensplan.com/report/ If you’re able to shoot video of your candidate, share that with us as well – you can upload it at push.pickensplan.com

Let’s move out and get these folks to commit to a bill to reduce our need for OPEC oil!
