My wife and I life in Olathe, Kansas and have three sons (two still in college). My career has been in a variety of managerial roles in the Property & Casualty Insurance Industry.
– Why are you a part of the Pickens Plan?
It’s time for the United States to develop an energy game plan. How hard is it to promote natural gas when it’s cheaper, cleaner, plentiful, creates new jobs that we desperately need and helps us quit sending money overseas?
– Tell us about things you’ve done to promote the Pickens Plan.
I’ve done my best to promote the Pickens Plan by writing letters to
the editor to our local papers and have been fairly successful. I
make sure to email my friends, family and colleagues about energy issues.
– Share one idea for what you’d like to accomplish through your work with the Pickens Plan in the next 3 months.
In the next 3 months I’d like to see passage of tax incentives for companies to convert vehicles to natural gas. Better yet, have President Obama agree to convert all government vehicles to natural gas over the next five years.
