Army Highlights
- Minnesota State Leader Missy Steichen was on a call-in show with Kathleen Dunn on NPR last week to promote the Pickens Plan during a show on the oil disaster in the Gulf.
- California State Leader John Nobles attended a Town Hall meeting for California Gubernatorial Candidate Ken Miller with other Pickens Plan supporters and wore their Pickens Plan t-shirts. John reported that Ken Miller talked about our need to end our foreign oil dependency and what we should learn from the oil spill is that we need to end that dependency soon. Ken Miller is a supporter of the Pickens Plan thanks to John.
- Ohio State Leader Veronica Gold did a 30 minute interview on WMOA 1490 about the Pickens Plan.
- Army member Ozvaldo Navarro presented the Pickens Plan to the Summerdale, AL Rotary Club. He updated them on the Nat Gas Act and encouraged the Rotarians to write letters to the editor, and call Senators Shelby and Sessions to support S 1408.
