T. Boone Pickens will be, according to a University press release, the “keynote speaker for a statewide Energy Summit hosted by the University of Missouri’s four campuses April 22-23 in Columbia, Missouri.”

Pickens’ keynote address is scheduled for 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 22 (Earth Day) in Jesse Hall Auditorium on the University of Missouri-Columbia campus.

Boone Pickens, founder and creator of the Pickens Plan to reduce America’s dependence on foreign oil, has spoken at a number of university campuses, including Georgetown, Michigan, Texas, Rice, and many others.
