We have an excellent producer with intentions of producing more wells in the future. We will keep you updated.

That is our #1 goal in that part of the world, the reason we have led two wars over there.
We need to break free of that, stand free of dependence on anybody so we can do what is right for us. What is right for us may involve maintaining a presense in the Mid East. But it would be on our terms, not the Saudi’s or anybody else. We have been blackmailed bu OPEC since the 1973 oil embargo.
Why are we running these huge debts so the EU and China can have a dependable supply of oil?
Why are we sacrificing our men and women so the EU and China can have a dependable supply of oil?

To my knowledge they have not had a functioning government since we “left”. The middle east “situation”, as a whole is all smoke and mirrors for agendas which none of us are truly informed about, which is why, in my opinion the fighting, massacres, and decades of multinational involvement have gone on and on and on… all backed by the U.S dollar because that is the worlds currency and to change that would mean a complete currency restructure worldwide We need to start the information stream there. It seems Oil is the only energy we seem to “know” about. It’s been a commodity for thousands of years. We all need more knowledge and info in order to make rational decisions for our best interests as a whole. I don’t think drilling for natural U.S. gas using techniques with less than a decade of proper residual testing is the immediate answer. Nuclear power is a fine example. It has decades of testing and decades of catastrophic failures. We still don’t know the true impacts of some of those failures. I do commend this once “oil” man for perking our ears, asking questions, and driving us as a whole to thinking in a new direction.

When this began, it seemed like a good idea to get all Americans in on the discussion about energy and freeing ourselves from foreign oil, and making America more economically secure with a clean environment.
But, recently you have shown that your agenda is actually different from the ideals you originally proposed. Your support of current methods for obtaining natural gas, in spite of evidence that those methods cause real harm to natural water supplies, shows a disregard for the welfare of the citizens of the country.
Now you propose getting out of the middle-east entirely. That would be the most dangerous thing for the U.S. to do. Oil is not the only reason the U.S. is involved in the middle-east. You can make the case that we invaded Iraq, twice, because of oil interests. But you cannot make this case regarding Syria.
Without going into detail, it will be much better for the U.S. if we pay attention to the people who know what they are talking about AND care about the welfare of U.S. citizens, than to rally blindly behind businessmen who don’t.

We now know everything we need to know. Continuing to fight in the Middle East is not going to produce a different result. We must stop sacrificing our men, women and money in a futile effort to protect Middle East oil. Let us all continue to pressure our Senators and Representatives to stop buying Middle East oil and use our own resources.

I think they are rich fat cats that have been benefiting from the whole mess. Thank you so very much for you hard efforts. Congress needs to listen to real Americans and get the heck out of the Mid-East. Congress seems to work hard at given our country away.
Thank God we have an American voice in you. Again, my thanks.

That could be BAD. Back them in a corner and they’ll come out swinging like NEVER before. It would give new meaning to the phrase “bomb ’em, pave ’em”. There won’t be an Iran or Syria left…sheesh…there may not be much of anything left in the Middle East.

Can’t believe I’m saying this Mr Pickens…but…forget about oil for a minute. 50 million people could die the first month and 75 million more in the next 18 months…many by starvation.

Wish I knew the answer……..

Todd
