The reason for our government’s complete ineptitude lies with the Grover Norquist anti-tax pledge that 95% of all Republicans in congress have signed. Everything from gridlock in Washington, absence of energy reform (Pickens Plan), our credit rating downgrade, lack of willingness to reform entitlements, and poor economy stem from this pledge to NEVER raise taxes EVEN if the country is going straight to hell. Why did you say that Romney has a better energy plan than Obama’s energy plan if Romney won’t sign the Natural Gas Act? The seems absurd considering that Obama is ready to sign the Natural Gas Act today? Pickens- you said, “I’ll vote for the guy with the best energy plan”. The American people have a right to know where you stand!

It seems that the only hope of ending our oil dependance to OPEC is to let the Koch Brothers have the keys to Ft. Knox. Since Romney will not allow any legislation, ie, the NGA, only the North American Oil idea is the only viable solution. Privately owned and operated with just North American Oil, and Gas. Each station should have a CNG island for cars ang Trucks.
