RE: Alternative Energy

As we sit and wait for the passage of another south Louisiana storm, we are again at the mercy of forces we cannot control. It’s not the wind and rain that truly threaten us at this moment, though thoughts about safety or the destruction of our personal property loom. Stop and think about the bigger picture of personal comfort or freedom or even survival.

Beyond the race to purchase food and ice, what is the thing most sought-after, possibly fought over, becoming unavailable after the supply runs out at a crucial point?

NOT NATURAL GAS!

What is the commodity that is hung over the American public’s heads the most? What substance have we been told we are “ADDICTED” to and then are told we are “LUCKY IT COSTS SO LITTLE HERE”?

NOT NATURAL GAS!

What product can be so manipulated that a ‘storm in the Gulf of Mexico’ and a ‘skirmish in the Gulf of Yemen’ can both be equally manipulated to buggy-whip the American people?

NOT NATURAL GAS!

-and before you read on, what about these simple questions?

Why did Ethanol gain so much ground before the human race was made aware of its threat to our worldwide food supply?

Solar power is a good thing, but can it get your kids to school or get food to your shelf?

Why is the “utter and complete LIE OF CLEAN COAL” being perpetrated on the American people at the same moment when certain folks are building the monetary structure of worldwide “carbon credit” trading?

Why does the EPA worry so much about your car’s gas cap as apposed to the black soot blowing wholesale out of a huge, dirty, diesel engine?

When we talk about our transportation freedoms or the thought of the absolute best of us “dying in the sand for freedom”, it is a self-check moment when any honest American must ask “is that the same freedom we were taught about in History class?” The true answer is troubling, and particularly bitter when one realizes that the very substance that was fought over can be manipulated to affect our………………………………..FREEDOM.

What do forward-thinking people do to prepare for a threat to their way of life?
Answer: Arrange for and bring about the alternative!
This is the reason that citizens, businesses, hospitals, and other entities who can afford it, buy natural gas powered backup generators to prepare for the worst, because it will eventually come.
