A really bad break not getting the Natural Gas Energy Bill passed. A majority in favor because we needed a Super Majority. Democracy in action. Wow. Keep at T. Boone – go at them again. Let’s get it done ! Dumbest generation ever if we send our natural gas overseas. I’ll say. I agree 100%. If our leadership can borrow to wage oil wars and build 3rd world nations and have the Citizenry and Future Citizenry foot the bill (which amounts to a huge penalizing subsidy) why can’t the leadership legislate to subsidize internal combustion engine conversion to natural gas. I say have the government print checks to any citizen who owns an automobile with a gasoline internal combustion engine to pay for the conversion to dual fuel (gasoline / diesel to compressed natural gas). Government should also subsidize the cost of creating new infrastructure (CNG filling stations, etc.). Do these things as a matter of National Security and as a National Security Expense. Save the blood and spend the Defense money here at home. Can you imagine the jobs such programs would create ? It would make the F. D. R’s. WPA look like a kid’s lemonade stand by comparison. Government subsidy sounds impalatable to many but still better than throwing the money overseas making wars. Just my take on these issues.

Funny! Last time I checked, President Obama was one of your staunchest supporters! How could things change so much in just 6 months? The only thing that has really changed is that you’re showing your true partisan colors! In fact, you didn’t say anything when the republicans betrayed you in the Senate and voted along party lines to defeat your bill!! Guess who backed you along party longs; the democrats and Obama. But when you get on TV, you utter the same garbage about how Obama has no energy plan! His energy plan is your energy plan! Does that me you don’t have an energy plan either Mr. Pickens?? By the way, don’t ever try to erase my posts on Facebook!! I’ll make sure that everyone knows the truth! Did they buy you out, or are you so blinded by the partisanship in Washington that you’ll allow your own party to betray you? What’s worse is that you blame it on the democrats when they were your staunchest supporters!! Again, here’s the party line vote that killed the Nat Gas Act in the Senate for all the world to see:

You betrayed us Mr. Pickens!! I worked so hard to make sure that my representatives knew and approved of your plan and I went through the local elections process, helping candidates that endorsed your plan to succeed in the Colorado Caucasus. Those elected officials stood by you, but you didn’t stand by them!! I don’t expect that you would share my political beliefs, just that you wouldn’t misrepresent the political beliefs of people like President Obama. He’s given a strong effort to pass your plan, but your party’s Republican Senators killed the deal. You can’t blame the president for your party’s failure!! By the way, I’ve never seen Romney’s position on your plan, but we all know President Obama’s position as a supporter.

You use to be one of my hero’s, but sadly, I now consider you to be one more example of American failure. I really did have hope that you would do great things for this country. I’m so sad now!!
