I think that this country’s lawmakers should be indeed ashamed of themselves based on their continuous behavior in embracing the big oil’s “STATUS QUO.” It really does tell ALL of the American consumers just how corrupted to a certain extent both of the parties on the capitol hill really seem to be. What you Mr Pickens forgot to mention is that the republican base (although it is difficult to prove) is likely getting a great deal of support from the big oil’s lobbyists which in turn tells a story in itself. Since repubicans cater to the big oil and support their such “STATUS QUO IN THE TRANSPORTATION SECTOR” they are also likely telling the democrats to keep their mouth shut as the big oil allows a lot of taxes to be collected for the democratic base’s causes that democrats need to maintain many social programs for the many people here in the country. What is NOT mentioned is that NAT GAS usage also is capable to create taxes for the government as well. What is simply taking place is the fact I have mentioned before in my prior comments, and that is the fact that the big oil will fight everyone and anyone determined to undermine the big OPEC’s oil’s such “STATUS QUO” as they have happily enjoyed throughout the history and still seem to do nowadays. It is a beast of an unimaginable proportion that the president and well as you Mr Pickens (along with your army of commited followers seeking the change for the better of the everyday American consumer) are up against. Additionally I’m not sure if you happened to know but going on the FOX NEWS is realistically counter-productive to you and your followers important cause as the are “Owned by the republican base” that’s catering to republican’s needs and the big oil itself. Exposure in other news channels will likely have a much greater positive impact for your cause. The president knows just how difficult it is to change the average American human mindset in the positive direction when it comes to creating positve change for the better for the US consumer simply because he knows how big and powerful the big oil giants are and he also knows that they will be determined to dominate the transportation sector at any cost to the big oil machine itself as it is a much cheaper alternative to deny other sources of fuel in the transportation sector rather than loose a substantial profit in their market share on the global scale. It is a shame on the part of the lawmakers indeed as I believe that knowing the benefits of NAT GAS usage as opposed to oil itself should have no place for the big oil’s influence in the government and the politics here in America. I am really surprised seeing that the lawmakers allowed themselves to get hijacked and enslaved themselves to the dictatorship of the big and powerful oil giants (and OPEC oil prices) and it is indeed hard for me to grasp an idea that by doing so they additionally subject each and every US consumer to use oil only for their transportation needs each and every day. I’m sure that they don’t seem to believe that lowering emissions to a greater extent by using NAT GAS here in America would be considered productive to GOD’s wish and desire for the people to have a cleaner oxygen to be able to breathe in the atmosphere and I just happened to believe that that’s exactly what our maker has intended for us to do. If cleaning up the environment and lowering the consumer prices at the pump for people’s transportation needs doesn’t seem to be the priority for the lawmakers then they should be literally (in my view) considered the traitors as they seem to enjoy seeing the middle class to struggle and fall back even further into the past. They are as shallow minded and stupid as they can possibly be just like their former president Bush has been all throughout his presidency. You know when I hear Romney’s idea claiming “As a president, I will eliminate the EPA” which is what he had said it just makes me sick to my stomach. He wants to offer each and every American a job Romney style polluting the air water and land into endlessness so that the greed remains the dictating and doiminating factor for each and every average American in this country. I certainly hope that his ideology doesn’t prove to be true as it will likely bring an environmental disaster of an unimaginable proportion. By using the Nat Gas in the transportation sector as opposed to oil itself would drop emissions thus allowing for the Keyoto Protocol and alike to be not just adopted but the agreements in cutting emissions be met as proposed. Additionally, I’ve read a report that apparently oil giants are swithing from oil generators to NAT GAS based generators for their oil platforms usage needs to bring oil and NAT GAS up from the ground or water. So if the oil giants are indeed looking to cut costs of operating such oil rigs in their business (which happen to lower emissions as well as a result) then why can’t the lawmakers see that they are holding the American consumer enslaved to oil and the big oil’s addictive and dicatative ways. In my view it is simply anti-American to deny competition to oil in the transportation sector. Then the big question is this: “If the big and giant oil companies are this much smarter why can’t the lawmakers open their eyes and minds and learn to smarten up????”
