And they claim that apparently they were elected as officials to serve their constituents. If you’d ask me I’d say that they are betraying the US middle class consumer rather than represent and serve us. Their behavior on capitol hill is exactly the proof we the US consumer need to demand term limits for the lawmakers on capitol hill just like presidents get to have. It is their irresponsible and irrational behavior that will hold back America from a faster pullback out of the recession. It is such a shame and it is also no surprise that most of the people (that happen to be the US consumers that for the most part drive this economy) in this country view the lawmaker’s incompatible behavior as incompetent for the jobs they were assigned and are doing today for their own people. And they have the courage to ask themselves for a pay raise on capitol hill??? That sounds like a total joke doesn’t it??? Almost sounds like the big banks and corporations lacking performance and failing to grow the bottom line yet getting extensively rewarded for their lack of competence morals and the proper vision into the future for this country and it’s people. Only this time it is the entire US consumer that they are undermining nationwide. Democracy cannot thrive if there is continual denial for the competition to oil usage in the transportation sector and as a democratic principle it also happens to be anti-American. Talk about hypocrites on capitol hill with their minds being as shallow as the oil itself they get to order and consume nationwide. It is the lawmakers in my view that are indeed undermining the democracy here in America and it is truly a shame that the republican party has the courage to blame and shame Obama when it comes to the high gas prices. In my view any lawmaker that denies the competition to oil in the transportation sector should NOT be given a pay raise but be prosecuted for undermining the persident and the democratic values that this country proudly adopted and inherited many years ago. Ignorance and arrogance on the part of the lawmakers on capitol hill is NO EXCUSE for their lack of leadership in the positive direction and they should be held responsible to the fullest extent and NEVER rewarded for such a behavior.
