I am saying simply that one way to get started is to switch your automobiles to American made synthetic lubricants. The Germans used synthetic lubricants in WWII, and every jet and space craft in the universe uses synthetic lubricants. For more information, my email address is ggarman@sunnetworks.net.

Yes, we the American people, are going to have, and support you, wholeheartedly. Also, yes, we are going to have to do this ourselves! With the available support, of those in our government, who support us. Boone, could you please, post an absolutely complete list, of ALL those in our government, who supports your plan. I believe that this list, can help us followers, in choosing whom to vote for, this November! Most of those yahoos in our congress, now, spend WAY TOO MUCH TIME FIGHTING, amongst themselves to accomplish, what truly needs to be done, MAINLY, in my eyes, IMPLEMENTING THE PICKENS PLAN. God bless, sincerely, Brian D. Albert Sr.

You are sooo right ! All the politicians do is blab about “global warming” and “energy security” but there has been CNG/NGV technology for 30 years that could solve many problems but they wont use it. In the Vancouver area there are about 15 CNG stations so the average Joe can convert their vehicle and use natural gas (you have to fill up lots and have those darn tanks). The government used to give a $2000 incentive to convert to CNG but of course they stopped it.

It is sad that Venezuala is now producing BRAND NEW 100% CNG vehicles right now and Canada and the US do not! In fact there is a company right here in the VAncovuer area that is a leader in CNG pump station technology. I spoke with them and 90% of their business is to NON NORTH AMERICA customers. Go figure.

Like that’s going to get people to go CNG. Are they just puppets for the oil companies! In Nevada and California as well as other states it now about the same price of fuel. They just took away the insentive for people to go CNG!!!!!!

You can fill your tank up at your house, if you have natural gas at your house. You need a natural gas compresser. I have seen pictures of them. They don`t look that big. If you can afford to change you car to natural gas, and not doing it, because there is no place to fill it up, then get the compresser. It is compressed to turn the gas into liquid to get more fuel in the tank. I would think that if you didn`t drive very far. The gas is already under pressure, just not enough to turn it into a liquid, witch would limit your driveing range. I drive a diesel truck, it supposed to run better with natural gas, and diesel together.

Lead on, Mr. Pickens!!! We are 100% behind you. Thanks too, for giving all of us a voice during these tough economic times. Your views on energy independence are prudent and show grit in the face of the political quagmire that is Washington, D.C. and its “gotcha games.” I also like your faith in the American people just when we thought we were only an afterthought in the eyes of politicians. Thank you.

Also Chesapeake Energy as a supplier of CNG http://www.chk.com/Pages/default.aspx

This should help to understand some of the supply chain issues at hand for the future.

I agree it will take the American people to say we have had enough! But a lot stands in our way! The Feds, the banks, the oil companies! Do you think we got a chance to get there in our life time?
