This month the U.S. Department of Energy is sponsoring The Solar Decathlon. The event joins 20 college and university teams in a competition to design, build, and operate the most attractive and energy-efficient solar-powered house. If you’re in the DC area, head on down to the National Mall sometime in the next couple weeks to see the projects in person.
