T. Boone Pickens and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev) will host the “second annual National Clean Energy Summit due to take place in Washington D.C. on Feb. 23. The gathering is meant to serve as a forum for politicians, scientists, executives, academics, and advocates” according to the Earth2Tech website.

Pickens, Reid and former Clinton White House chief of staff, John Podesta will reprise a similar meeting which was held in Las Vegas last year, but “More ambitious goals that have come to the fore in recent months may raise the bar for proposals at the summit,” according to a reporter who was on a conference call with the leaders.

The Summit is scheduled for February 23 in Washington, DC.
