Army – it’s time to put on your rally cap!

We’ve got some exciting ideas for how you can push the Pickens Plan between now and Election Day that we want to tell you about.

1) 1.4 million. That’s how big we want our Army to be by Election Day. Whenever you recruit someone to sign the “What’s Your Plan?” Petition, you are also recruiting them to join our Army. So please get at least 1 friend or member of your family to sign the petition. Can you imagine if all 1,283,144 of us recruited just one more person RIGHT NOW?

2) We need to let the candidates know about our petition! We’ve created a downloadable version of the petition for you to print and deliver to the candidates. It’s kind of long, but that’s a good thing – it will be hard for the candidates to ignore us if they receive a copy of our petition with over 100,000 signatures at every one of their campaign offices around the country! Click here for more information and to find the campaign HQ near where you live.

If you can help out for just 30 minutes between now and Election Day – even if it’s just sitting at your computer emailing your friends about the Pickens Plan – every little bit helps!

To support your efforts, we have two new resources to tell you about:

“MyEnergy”: Now you can keep track of your efforts on the Pickens Plan website. You’ll get points for participating in various activities, and you can compare your progress to other members of the Army. Click here to get started today!

Campaign Materials: We now have an online store at CafePress.com where you can purchase a variety of Pickens Plan branded materials including t-shirts, buttons and stickers.  Click here to visit the store. We’ve also made some materials available at the Resource Center on PickensPlan.com, including downloadable versions of the petition and graphics to print your own yard signs.

We’ve only got 9 days left! Let’s make a big push now and put pressure on the Presidential candidates to endorse the Pickens Plan or tell us what their plan is to reduce our foreign oil dependence by 30% within 10 years. We’ve got to get this done!
