Here’s some news which will not surprise you, but may surprise some of our friends in the media. We had a survey done – a bi-partisan survey – by two well-known Washington, DC polling firms.

Re: Key findings from a national survey of likely voters============================================================
I wanted to know what people who are likely to vote in November think about what we’re doing.
It turns out they like the deal. They like it a lot.
After we told them what the Pickens Plan was about 84 percent said they supported our efforts to cut down on oil imports from their current 70 percent levels.
That part was good. But here’s where the New Energy Army is going to get its marching orders.
About half of those 1,000 people we surveyed have, as the pollsters told us, “very little or no confidence at all” that that the Congress or the new Administration in Washington will pass legislation supporting the Pickens Plan.
I’ll be back with you shortly as we begin to activate the New Energy Army.
But I wanted you to know that we are not alone out there. You can tell your friends, neighbors, family and the folks you work with about the Pickens Plan and send them to www.PickensPlan.com for all the information they’ll need. These survey numbers tell us you’ll find yourself in good company.
