A key point of the Pickens Plan is moving America’s shipping and transportation from traditional gasoline to vehicles that run on natural gas. Car manufacturer Toyota recently announced it was exploring natural gas vehicles, and now UPS is getting into the natural gas business. The shipping giant recently rolled out 168 delivery trucks running on compressed natural gas (CNG). The trucks are currently cruising the streets of Dallas, Atlanta, Sacramento, and Los Angeles, among others.
